Korean Learning Sites :DDD

WHOOO~! I've finally manage to dig out some time for my Korean! And as time passes, I've also got a whole bunch of Korean learning sites to SHARE!!!

Check 'em out!:

Korean Class 101

This is my very first site that when I just started learning Korean ^^ One thing that made this site well-known is because of it's podcasts. Most language site do not have podcasts as this may require a group of people. Podcast are actually pretty important when learning a new language in order to master the pronunciation.

Also, this sites also have notes in PDF files that you can view on the go after downloading. However, the notes and podcast for certain lessons need to be paid. Paid as in you need to pay for the premium membership to get the stuff before you can download (not pay one by one)

Songang Korean Programme

This is a site recommended to me by a friend who learns Korean too.
This site is totally FREE! And it has clear explanation on grammar points. It doesn't have podcast but there's animation to taste your listening skills and also reading test. It will be recommended to drop down the notes as it will be easier to revise. Also, if you follow this site closely, your vocabulary would increase gradually :D

Talk To Me In Korean

I just stumbled upon this site recently when I joined their Facebook page :D This site is relatively similar to Korean Class 101. BUT! Everything In This Site Is Totally Free! From the lesson notes to the podcast... it's all free. They even have even have workbook summarize for Level 1 from Lesson 1 to 20 :D

So happy. So confused. So frustrated.

These are the feeling i've been having lately. Happy, that I've finally made some time to get closer Him and my friend is baptized :D Confused, for at times I feel lost in my school work. Frustrated, for being such a great procrastinator. Guilt is killing me., Even now, half-way through doing my school work and now I'm here blogging.

BUT.
There's someone who keeps pushing me. Who keeps my hope alive. Put aside Christianity for a moment. She's someone i really admire. After much time, she has finally finished directing her full-length movie. And finally appearing on some entertainment shows which let audience know more about her. (L) Wonder how's her movie gonna turn out. Blockbuster? Top box office? Praying hard for her.

A BETTER PROCRASTINATOR.
I've always been a procrastinator. No matter what is is about. Religion, School Work, Doubts, etc. It's been part of my live and now it's really killing me. So, i;m trying to atop my bad habit of procrastinating :D

A GREAT DAY!
Thank God for today. It was a bliss. Firstly, today's lessons are pretty slack. Plus, there was computer class. Then attended school for 19th Council Investiture. Feelin' really honored to attend this grand event of our school.Of course, i have to admit the talks were really boring "I would like to thanks....blah,blah,blah." BUt it was a great experience for all Sec 1 student leaders (L)
It really inspire me to become a better leader.
Hope my procrastination can stop soon ^_^

Okay, In 5 words.

TODAY WAS AN EVENTFUL DAY.

In more words......

1) After showering, I couldn't find my comb. I think my sis took it.... AGAIN ~_~

2) Found a nerf gun in my sis drawer (while finding my comb).

3) Got back my Chinese essay and pass by one pathetic mark. Thank God. I pass.

4) Had a great day with the NCC peeps in my class XD

5)Got a B'day gift for O.W.N. (the crazy yoonsua girl) Split cost with Jo and Jean_ _.

6) Felt like a lost chicken while my friends took me to the public library by bus and MRT. And was like even worst when me and Jo were taking the MRT home. Couldn't stop staring @ the map

7) FINALLY FOUND SOMEONE IN MY CLASS WHO THINKS HYESUN ONNIE IS COOL TOO!

(i was like so super emo...i was like...."whoo! Thank God for this. I love it." SHAHNAS! Thanks for liking her....kk, crazy, in simpler words)

8) Have a whole evening to myself cos mom and dad went out for diner. Sis had a concert :) Yippe!

9) Realize that Facebook and Blogger have PEAK HOURS too XD It was like so super laggy.

Gosh! Everything is in Korean. Heck! How do i read???!!! Felt like so retarded, translating every single word on my desktop translation gadget. BUT IT WAS WORTH!!! Got a couple of AWESOME pics........

THE BEST: I manage to stumble upon this part of her cyworld that's called "storyroom" and it allows readers to leave comments. I was like...O-M-G! I leave a short one, hoping she will return with a drama soon ... what more can i say?? Hope she tie a knot with LMH? Don't dare. That's like too direct XD

BTW, my mom told me my MP3 was ready for collection (i sent for servicing) But later my Dad called back and said that the company made a mistake. Thank you so much, my dad wasted a trip.

Well, guess I'm gonna brush up with my Korean now. oops, I think it's more like update my Facebook and do my HW. *sigh* when's the next holiday???

Lots of day had passed since i've updated my blog. Nah~ anyway, not much stuff happened. Just school, CCA, homework- normal school life.

The only time i can really take a break and think thorough what i have done so far is when i lie on my bed at night. Ya' know, every time when you lie down on your bed at night, funny thoughts just keep rolling into your mind.

So, that day i was thinking. I've always study so hard, work so hard...but is this the life i want? Yes, i know you're going to tell me is all for my own good. But, why is the world so competitive? Yes, COMPETITIVE is the word. Since young, we compete in school to see who has the latest toy that's on the TV commercial. Then as we proceed on to primary school, we start studying like crazy. You just keep studying and studying and studying....non-stop. And then PSLE comes, you study all day and night long, not letting one moment off. You take the exam. Got your results. "Oh God, why is my result like this?" you start complaining. You can't get into your dream school. Whatever, you just choose a school that you can get in.

Then, next, Secondary school. You start competing with your friends with the latest gadget. The latsest fashion. For the smart peeps, they start competing in their results. STRESS~! Things go hey-wire. You break down.

So, SEE? Thing get EVEN MORE COMPETITIVE when you're older. CRAZY~!

So, can't we just slow down our pace of life? Enjoy it. Taste it. Understand it. And not let it just go by like this doing what you don't want.

Okay, stop here before i really start posting crazy thought here ^^

Cyber Diet

Ohhh~! Haven't really been updating (other than the Fanfics update =P) I've been 'training' myself to less computer time....Okay so let me list down the stuff that had been happening and GONNA happen....
1)I ACIDDENTALLY electricuted my arm when trying to get my ph chrger into the socket
2)Chinese and Science test...*pss* I've totally forgotten to use pen to draw my diagrams
3) FanFics ADDICTION~!!!
4)ohhh....and opening AngBao~!!!! *love the new, crisp money~*

Quick Update

Whoo...Just back for a quick update ^_^ Hmmm, so far, I've finished reading my fanfics. Starting on my second one soon. *still choosing* XD OH~ GONNA GET MY TPC TOMORROW !!!! Yup. That's about all. Kk, got to shower now. Oh, it's raining now. Wonder of it's a joy or sadness for the NCC people...or rather cadets

FanFics ADDICTION~!

Oh My Gosh~! I'm seriously addicted to soompi's Fanfics XD I'm sooOOoooOOoo addicted that I don't even bother logging out. Hmmm, It's seriously worth it to create a Soompi account~!!! Haha, Now i think that reading fanfics is way better than watching drama ^_^ ㅋㅋㅋ. I'm just so addicted that i no longer go to my Facebook account or check my inbox. Just an update post here on what I'm doing. I've finished 22 Chapters in 2 days. (Just started last night =P) 8 more to go~!

GOSH~! I really dunno what to post!!! feeling so restless on weekends on so stress on weekdays...something's wrong with me!!! feel like going to texas and meet my cousins. Wonder how's their school there??? B-O-R-E-D...kk, wanna go and watch Korean drama now. Bye for now ^^

The 'Smell' of CNY

Chinese New Year is around the corner and the aroma of cookies and treats are starting to fill the air.
Sitting by the window doing my homework, I can't urge the temptation to stick my face closer to the window to get a better smell.
The smell of butter cookies, pineapple tarts, love letters....It's just makes you hope that CNY would come faster.
At the same time, you just really love to sink your teeth into that yummy treats.
Yum...yum
Just by the aroma of the food, one is able to tell how well-done is the dish.
Whether it's a 3-years-old child or a 30 years experience chef.
It just rely on how nice the food smells.
I'm never able to hold my temptation to grab a piece of cookies when there's one in sight.
It's really nice of friends to bring their CNY goodies to school to share.
Apparent;y, I don't have any to share because my mom never bakes such stuffs.

(My mind is a little incoherent as I'm typing this post. So this is totally random. I don't know how to put my thoughts in words)
